There Will Always Be Love
There Will Always Be Love Jocelyn Davis. Shazaa Moon Productions: Menands, NY, 2012.
This is a delightful children's book based on the author's life and experience with her twin sister (who is the books illustrator). It's an excellent tool to explain to neurotypical siblings and peers some of the social oddities seen in individuals with autism. It helps children to be more aware and accepting of those with autism and explains it in a kid-friendly way. It contains fun terminology that adds color, depth and interest to the story and to some of the features of autism. It also addresses bullying and can be a source of comfort to siblings and friends of the individual with autism.
